By accessing this website, booking a session, purchasing a service, or ordering a product from Tiny Little Cosmos (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services or site.

1. Payment & Booking

• Your session or service is confirmed once payment is received.

2. Services (including Anchor & Action, Sense & Synthesis, Plot & Pulse, and Tend & Transform)

• Sessions are fully refundable within 24 hours of purchase (based on the original purchase date/time). After that, all sales are final.

• You may reschedule a session up to 72 hours before your appointment at no cost.

• Rescheduling within 72 hours of your appointment will incur a 10% rescheduling fee.

• Cancellations made within 72 hours of your appointment are non-refundable.

3. Digital Products & Custom Creative Work

• All sales for services, digital products, and custom creative work are final.

• We do not offer returns, exchanges, or refunds once work has begun or files have been delivered.

• Work is considered begun once we have reviewed your materials, started research or synthesis, or conducted the kickoff session.

4. Physical Products

• Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery only if the item arrives damaged or defective.

• To initiate a return, please contact us at start@tinylittlecosmos.co with your order number, photos of the item, and a brief description of the issue.

• Approved returns must be shipped back in their original condition and packaging.

• Unless otherwise specified, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

5. Scope of Service

Tiny Little Cosmos provides creative and strategic services through the following offerings:

• Anchor & Action — Planning and facilitation services to help you clarify priorities, explore ideas, and create actionable strategies.

• Sense & Synthesis — Primary and secondary research services to help you gather data, analyze it using structured methods, and create actionable insights and recommendations.

• Plot & Pulse — Creative direction, strategy, design, and production services to help you express your vision and communicate effectively.

• Tend & Transform — Training, strategic guidance, and advisory services to help you and your team navigate change with clarity and alignment.

These services can include creative direction, goal-setting, structured decision-making, design and production, and, where relevant, marketing and communications recommendations. They do not include therapy, legal services, financial advising, or other regulated professional practices.

6. Deliverables

Deliverables will be tailored to the priorities set during the engagement. Depending on the service, these may include prioritized plans, schedules, calendars, design assets, community agreements, strategic recommendations, or marketing and communications materials. All deliverables will be provided in digital format unless otherwise agreed in writing. Deadlines with drafts included are dependent on client review and approval given within 24 hours upon receipt of each draft. Delays in client review or approval may extend the project timeline. Requests beyond the defined deliverables—including additional audiences, messaging formats, revisions, or strategic research—will be scoped and billed separately at the current hourly or project rate.

7. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing timely access to background materials, internal documents, stakeholder contacts, and factual information necessary for the project. Tiny Little Cosmos is not responsible for delays or inaccuracies resulting from incomplete or incorrect client-provided information.

8. Communication & Availability

Communication is primarily conducted via email unless otherwise agreed. Typical response time is 1–2 business days. Meetings or live collaboration must be scheduled in advance.

9. Third-Party Platforms & Dependencies

Some services may require access to third-party tools or systems such as your website platform (e.g., Squarespace, Wix, WordPress), donation or giving software, CRM, CMS, email provider, or other external accounts. You are responsible for providing timely access, credentials, permissions, and technical support for these platforms. You are also responsible for all fees, subscriptions, and administrative approvals from these platforms.

Tiny Little Cosmos is not liable for delays, errors, or limitations caused by third-party platforms, outages, security settings, approval processes, or technical issues outside our control. Any additional time required to troubleshoot or work around platform-related challenges may be billed separately at our current hourly rate.

10. Confidentiality

We will keep what you share private unless you give written permission to share it, or as otherwise allowed under the Marketing & Testimonials section below.

11. Marketing & Testimonials

By engaging our services, you grant Tiny Little Cosmos permission to reference our work together in marketing materials, case studies, and portfolios. This may include a brief description of the project, the results achieved, and non-confidential materials we created. Proprietary or sensitive donor information is never shared, and portfolio usage will not include specifics about donors unless approved. We will not share sensitive or proprietary information without your prior written consent, and you may request that references be anonymized.

12. Liability

While we bring our full attention, experience, and expertise to every service, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes. All decisions and actions you take after a session or project are your own responsibility. By booking or engaging our services, you agree to hold us harmless for any results, consequences, or decisions that follow from our work together.

13. Teams & Groups

If booking for multiple participants, the person making the booking is responsible for sharing these terms with all attendees.

14. Intellectual Property

All materials, templates, designs, and content provided during services or available on this site are owned by Tiny Little Cosmos unless otherwise stated. Clients receive a perpetual, royalty-free license to use, publish, and distribute the final deliverables created specifically for their project. Background frameworks, templates, or working files remain the intellectual property of Tiny Little Cosmos. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent, except for personal use of materials provided directly to you.

15. Website Use

You agree not to use this website for unlawful purposes or to engage in any activity that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the site. External links may be provided for convenience; we are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party sites.

16. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

17. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising under these Terms & Conditions will first be addressed through good faith negotiations. If unresolved, disputes will be submitted to binding arbitration in Los Angeles County, California, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

18. Force Majeure

We are not liable or responsible for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, government actions, labor disputes, internet or power outages, pandemics, or illness. If such an event occurs, we will work with you to reschedule affected services or, where appropriate, issue a refund for undelivered goods or services.

19. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page, and the “Last updated” date will be revised accordingly.
