A creative studio for moments of transformation

Hi, I’m Deepthi Welaratna. Tiny Little Cosmos is my creative studio from which I write, make music and short films, design, and help visionaries turn their ideas into action. At TLC, my guiding intention is to create powerful, impactful work in an environment of mutual respect and possibility. I believe that the cosmos flourishes when people feel safe, seen, and valued.

Studio Focus

• My creative practice spans writing, vocal and music performance, video and sound design for theatre, music composition, photography, and dramaturgy. I have worked independently and collaboratively across formats, stages, studios, and experimental spaces. My solo music project is Dark Spring Thunder and my band is Society of the Wing and Scale.

• I also lead strategic production work at the intersection of planning and strategy by combining research, storytelling, design, measurement and evaluation, and reporting. I have experience working across industries and issue areas to help complex ideas become actionable, aligning people around shared intent, making hard choices easier to make, and building campaigns and programs that create real momentum and measurable impact.
