A creative studio for moments of transformation
Tiny Little Cosmos is a creative studio run by Deepthi Welaratna that offers strategic planning, creative storytelling, and design facilitation services for people and projects navigating the unknown. Whether you’re launching something new, evolving your mission, or stepping into unfamiliar territory, TLC exists to help you move through it with clarity, imagination, and care.
With over two decades of experience across education, marketing, innovation, design, research, and management, I’ve worked with artists, founders, executives, policy leaders, all navigating the tiny little cosmos we live in as best they can. I’ve advised startups, led social impact campaigns, taught emerging creatives, and built cross-sector labs for change.
Through it all, I’ve helped people turn sparks of ideas into named goals, plans, brands, campaigns, websites, operating structures, and legally vetted procedures.
If you’re ready to name what’s next and make it beautifully real, you’re in the right place.

My Values
At Tiny Little Cosmos, I believe:
Kindness first — I choose to work with people who treat others with respect, patience, and empathy.
Openness over prejudice — Racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, or any form of discrimination have no place here.
Positivity with purpose — I value solutions over cynicism.
Collaboration over ego — The best ideas emerge when everyone’s voice matters.
Shared responsibility — Great results are built together.
If you bring curiosity, kindness, and a willingness to grow, TLC will be able to meet you with full creative force.
If you bring inflexibility, disrespect, or discrimination, TLC is not a fit. There are plenty of other studios out there.
